Don't Let Blair Make You a Terrorist Target

The nation crossed its fingers after the atrocities of July 7 2005. Fortunately, despite an attempted repetition shortly after, we have not been hit by terrorists again ...at least not yet.

Few people would argue that the invasion of Iraq was either necessary or legal. The notion that Saddam had weapons of mass destruction has been shown to be false. Let's be blunt, Bush and Blair were lying through their teeth. Our troops were committed under false pretences with terrible consequences not only for the Iraqis , who have suffered 650,000 casualties, but for our own people as well.

Let there be no doubts about it: we were targeted by the July 7 terrorists because of our government's criminal foreign policy. If you are one of the few who still doubt that fact, just ask yourself why peaceful countries such as Switzerland have been spared. And ask yourself why, following Spain's decision to withdraw from the conflict, it is no longer a target.

Six hundred thousand GIs were not enough to defeat the Vietnamese. The US war machine was reduced to impotence. Make no mistake, the same will happen in Iraq. Britain was smart enough to stay out of the Vietnamere bloodbath . Let's be smart again and quit Iraq now before more of our boys are slaughtered.

Support our troops: Bring them home now!
